Side Feeder for Coperion ZSK40 Twin-Screw Extruders (10 to 50 Percent Feeding Proportion)

The ZS-B40 side feeder is fully compatible with Coperion ZSK40 twin-screw extruders. It is designed for feeding various types of powders and short fibers, which effectively increases production output and reduces abrasion of screws and barrels. A segmented screw design is available to accommodate different material characteristics and process requirements. The barrel is integrated with a dedicated cooling system to maintain stable processing temperatures.

In addition to the ZS-B40 model, we also supply a full range of side feeders compatible with all models of the ZSK series twin-screw extruders.

Feeding materials include the following categories.

• Powders: Calcium carbonate, talc powder, titanium dioxide, carbon black, barium sulfate, mica and starch, among others
• Short fibers: Glass fiber and carbon fiber, among others

• Adopts involute spline connection with the drive shaft for reliable torque transmission
• Barrels are equipped with integrated wear-resistant alloy liners for extended service life
• Vertically mounted to the extruder for stable and uniform feeding
• Features tight clearance between screw and barrel to minimize material backflow
• Suitable for feeding powders, glass fibers and other inorganic fillers
• Operates in governor-free mode for flexible speed adjustment
• Equipped with wheels for easy movement and on-site relocation
